Air cushion packaging helps fill empty spaces inside shipping cartons and cushion products during handling and transport. Air pillows are used for void fill, while inflatable bubble and quilted cushioning formats can be used for wrapping, interleaving and lining cartons.
Supplied on uninflated rolls, the film is inflated as needed using compatible equipment at the packing station. This reduces the space required to store cushioning before use compared with storing the same material fully inflated.
The appropriate format depends on the product’s size, weight and fragility, as well as the carton dimensions and packing process. We help customers select suitable film formats and review equipment compatibility for their application.
