Air column packaging uses multiple air chambers to cushion products during handling and transport. In designs with independently sealed chambers, damage to one chamber can be isolated, allowing undamaged chambers to retain air. Overall protection still depends on the extent of damage and the complete packaging arrangement.
The packaging is supplied uninflated and inflated at the packing station using compatible equipment. This helps reduce storage space before use compared with storing the same packaging fully inflated.
We help you select a suitable configuration based on product dimensions, weight, vulnerable areas and outer carton size. Samples should be evaluated with the actual product and carton under representative handling and shipping conditions.
