Flexible Packaging
Rollstock, pouches and laminates built from the barrier out. We specify the film structure against your product, your process and your shelf-life target - then print, laminate and convert it in one certified supply chain.
Flexible packaging is where ACE started, and it is still the largest part of what we ship. A flexible pack is a stack of decisions - sealant, barrier, print web, adhesive system, converting format - and every one of them changes cost, machinability and shelf life.
Our engineers work backwards from the product. Oxygen sensitive? Then the barrier layer leads. Running on a vertical form-fill-seal line at 90 packs a minute? Then the sealant and coefficient of friction lead. Hot-filled or retorted? Then the adhesive system leads. We build the structure around the constraint that actually matters, not around whatever film is easiest to buy.
Everything is printed by rotogravure or flexo, in up to 10 colours, laminated by either adhesive or extrusion process, and converted in-house on pouch making equipment that covers every common format.
