Ready meals put the pack through more thermal stress than almost any other category. A frozen tray sits at minus eighteen for months, then goes to a two-hundred-degree oven with wet product in it. The tray has to hold its shape, the seal has to hold under internal pressure, and the lidding film has to peel cleanly when a consumer with oven gloves on pulls it.

The failure point is almost always the interface between tray and film, because most brands buy them from different suppliers. We make both. That means the sealing system is developed as one thing and validated before launch rather than discovered in the field.
