The flat bottom - or box pouch - gives you five printable panels and a base that actually sits flat under load. It is the format brands move to when a stand-up pouch no longer reads premium enough or when case-pack efficiency starts to matter.
Side gussets can be printed, which gives you two extra faces for ingredient decks and certifications without crowding the front panel. Optional tin ties, degassing valves and pocket zippers cover the coffee and pet categories directly.
